Privacy Policy — PPC Auditing Tools

PPC Auditing Tools is a Chrome extension that audits the currently active browser tab for paid-traffic and SEO issues, such as broken landing pages, missing tracking parameters, and on-page SEO problems.

What the extension does

When you click "Audit This Page," the extension reads the content of the active tab (links, page title, meta tags, images) and makes one network request to the current page's own URL to check its HTTP status. All of this happens locally, inside your browser.

Data collection

PPC Auditing Tools does not collect, store, or transmit any data to us or to any third party. No analytics, tracking, or telemetry is built into the extension. No information about the pages you visit or the audit results ever leaves your browser.

Permissions

• activeTab — allows the extension to read the content of the tab you are currently viewing, and only when you click the extension icon and run an audit. The extension has no access to any other tabs, browsing history, or background activity.
• scripting — allows the extension to run its audit script inside the active tab, again only when you trigger an audit.

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or otherwise provide any data to third parties, because no data is collected in the first place.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
